The mission of Horizon Orthotic & Prosthetic Experience, Inc. (H.O.P.E., Inc.) is to provide our clients with the best Orthotic and Prosthetic care in the industry. With a commitment to personal and professional integrity, our goal is to give HOPE to individuals with physical challenges through experience, technology and teamwork.

Horizon Orthotic & Prosthetic Experience (H.O.P.E.) is a locally-owned and operated organization that provides custom orthotics (orthopedic bracing) and prosthetics (artificial limbs) to patients in the Kansas City metropolitan area and across the Midwest.
H.O.P.E. strives to bring our community the latest technology, combined with the highest level of service to the patient. We have facilities located in Overland Park, KS, and Independence, MO. We fabricate all of the various custom orthotic and prosthetic devices in our lab, giving our clinical staff more control over the quality of the device. Our ofÞces are conveniently located near major hospitals and rehabilitation centers.

Our History
Horizon Orthotic & Prosthetic Experience (H.O.P.E.) was established in 2007 out of a passion that the founders have for quality patient care and a commitment to personal integrity.
Michael K. Schultz, MBA, CPO and Daniel T. Cotton, CPO have nearly 30 years of combined experience in the field. Both Dan and Mike have worked in the Kansas City area for more than 10 years and have formed strong relationships with many of the medical professionals in the community. In addition, both Dan and Mike are educators in the community, teaching at local high schools, Rockhurst University Physical Therapy program and the local community colleges.
